Special Education

The Mayflower School District allows all students to learn in their least restrictive environment. Mayflower schools offer a variety of settings for students with disabilities, including Resource classrooms, Self-Contained classrooms, and Inclusion settings, each tailored to meet the needs of the individual student.

Related services personnel are also available to serve students with disabilities. Related services can include Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech Therapy. Special Education personnel work closely with speech/language pathologists, principals, regular educators, and parents to determine appropriate programming and placement for eligible students.
